Erin and Tom... what a fun and cute couple! Erin and her girls got ready at the Palmer House Hilton. Erin's sister has her own line of hair products which she used to make Erin look fab for her big day. It really was a family affair; the couple got married on Erin's parents' anniversary by the same priest her parents used back in the day! After the ceremony at Old St. Pat's we took photos around the city. This time of year is fun because the lights go on early and the city streets have a great glow to them. We then went to the Palmer House's Red Lacquer Room, which was decorated by Anthony Gowder, where the guests partied to music by the Dan Hayes Orchestra. Check out the slideshow for more!

Mary & Dave's Christmas Wedding
Mary and Dave had a gorgeous during one of our favorite times of the year! Christmas Time! Not only was the Old St. Patrick's decked out, but when we stopped in at Union Station the great hall was decorated too! We had a blast doing pictures with the couple and their wedding party before heading to the ceremony at Old St Patrick's Church. After a beautiful mass officiated by a family friend it was off to the party at Fulton's on The River. If there's one thing you can be sure of; it's that the food is always going to be great at Fulton's! Take a look at some of our favorite pictures and their slideshow from their day!

Jason & Kristen's Intercontinental Shindig
The fates all aligned for Jason and Kristen this past Saturday! The weather was absolutely beautiful and everything ran perfectly for this great couple! After a beautiful Christian ceremony at First Saint Paul's Lutheran Church we came back to the Intercontinental Hotel on Michigan Ave for a traditional Korean wedding ceremony. Once all the formality was out of the way the party went down and thanks to the talents of Mark with DJ Chicago the party went all night! It was blast and a total pleasure to be a part of Jason and Kristen's big day!

Blissful Wishes Ball
For the 3rd year in a row, we have
been invited to photograph the Blissful Wishes Ball. The ball is a
fundraiser for Wish Upon a Wedding, which is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit
organization that provides weddings and vow
renewals to couples facing terminal illness and serious life altering
circumstances, regardless of sexual orientation. The organization was
created to celebrate the courage, determination and
spirit of these couples by granting their dream wedding Wishes. Their
hope
is that chosen recipients can inspire other couples facing similar
situations to find hope and strength.
Gerber+Scarpelli
was one of the original participants to be "wish-granters"- we provided
the photography for a lovely couple, Beth and Nick. You can see their
blog post here.
This
year, our own Nick Gerber was nominated for the Shining Star Award,
which recognizes wedding industry professionals that are philanthropic
in the Chicago Wedding industry. Previously, Kurt Gerber has won the
award.
