Travis & Nanette

We had a blast shooting Travis and Nanette's wedding. The couple got married at Northwestern's Chapel of the Unnamed Faithful, but before the ceremony they decided to do their first look in the gorgeous Shakespeare Garden. Since the couple lives in Kansas, they wanted to hit some of Chicago's iconic locations for pictures, so off we went to the Fourth Presbyterian Garden (where Travis proposed), Olive Park, Michigan Ave, LaSalle Street and Chicago Theatre. After the photo safari we retreated into the stunning Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock, where couple and their guests partied all night. Check out their slideshow to see more!

Lindsay & Omar

Let's get the obvious out of the way first... how awesome is Lindsey's ensemble?!?  Her dress, the shoes, the hair, and her simple yet elegant bouquet look so great together.  Lindsey and Omar truly had a unique wedding.  They kept it small and hosted a dinner for their nearest and dearest, just about twenty people.  We went around the city for photos and then returned for their short and sweet ceremony.  They did things their own way by having readings from all different faiths and traditions, creating a ceremony that was entirely "them."  Check out their slideshow for more!

Katie & Travis

Katie and Travis have been familiar faces around the O2 studio lately.  You may remember their Save the Dates: vintage ties with a label for their wedding.  Or perhaps their engagement session in Libertyville.  Their September wedding was so incredible, it's almost impossible to articulate it all in this blog post!!  They started out by getting ready at the Marriott River North.  We did some photos around the hotel (even running into one of Chicago's nightly news anchorwomen!) before making our way to the Red Canary for the ceremony.  The groomsmen were jealous that the bridesmaids got to hold flowers during the ceremony, so the bride and groom told them to take beers up to the ceremony to even it out!  The Lagunitas bottles went great with their boutonnieres from Etsy.  The bride is a graphic designer, so she designed their ceremony programs as paper airplanes.  As the couple recessed down the aisle, their guests threw them into the air - a cool alternative to rice or bubbles.  After the intimate ceremony, we went around the city for a great time taking photos.  We returned to the reception, and the couple spent the rest of the night mingling with their loved ones.  Travis & Katie did cupcakes instead of cake, and offered baking extracts as their wedding favor.  The place was looking great with flowers from Flowerama.  Check out the slideshow to see the full awesome-ness of this day!!

Christine and Robert

Christine and Robert had a beautiful Chicago wedding. They tied the knot at the historic St Andrews Church in Lakeview. Afterwards, we headed down town for a few pictures at the Wrigley Building, before heading to the reception at The Ivy Room. The day could not have been more perfect. Donna and Christy of the Ivy Room did a fantastic job of making sure every little detail was perfect. And as usual, Natalie from Hello Darling, provided breathtaking florals. Congrats to Chris and Bob, Thanks for letting us be apart of you day!!!
