Staci & Bryan's Intimate Wedding

As we head into this weekend and week that's all about celebrating with family and friends, we wanted to share with you this beautiful little wedding from late October. Originally Staci and Bryan were planning on getting married in May 2014 in Austin. But when Staci's dad, Dean's cancer took a turn for the worst, they move the celebration to October. The couple were married in a very intimate ceremony in her parents backyard in Glen Ellyn. Nothing was going to deter these two, not even a little rain shower while they said their vows. Afterwards, we took the couple to Morton Arboretum for some lovely pictures with the bridal party. From there, we headed to Adelle's in Wheaton, for a dinner and dancing. It was a wonderful evening filled with much laughter and some tears. Upon delivering the images to the bride and groom a few weeks later, we found out that Dean had passed on. We feel so honored that we were able to capture all the amazing moments for Staci, Bryan and their families. Our hearts go out to you.

Destination Milwaukee: Kieley & Sanjay's Wedding

We love destination weddings. A chance to get out of town and see things in a whole new way. When Kieley and Sanjay asked us to come up to Milwaukee and shoot their wedding, we danced a little. Milwaukee is such a fun town! We started the day bright and early as the couple prepared for the morning Hindu Ceremony.

After their first meeting, we took them outside for a few pictures along the riverfront. Then it was back to the Hyatt Regency for the ceremony!

After the Hindu Ceremony there was lunch and a break before Kieley and Sanjay got ready for the evenings festivities.

Even though it rained, the happy couple was determined to get a few pictures around town before the party started!

A close friend of the couple, officiated the civil ceremony. He kept everyone laughing by telling silly stories of Kieley and Sanjay's courtship.

The reception was amazing! Melissa Phillips of Simply Perfect Events, who kept the whole day running smoothly and on time, made the room shine. Nothing shone brighter than the newly weddings and they finally let loose and partied with friends and family until the wee hours! Congrats Sanjay and Kieley!
