Kelly & David's Lincoln Park Zoo Wedding

Katie Kozlowski was the planner and she did a great job.  They got married at the cafe at Wild Things in LP Zoo; they wanted the zoo because they go there all the time.  Their favorites are the monkeys and the polar bears.  David surprised Kelly after the ceremony by having the veterinarians bring their RESCUED PIT BULL MIX to the pond!!!!  Everyone cried, including me.  Also, during the ceremony, one of their readers read the lyrics to "Grow old with you," the Adam Sandler song from The Wedding Singer.  And then, they danced the night away...

Liz & Brent's Intimate West Side Wedding

This past weekend we worked with Liz and Brent! From our engagement shoot we knew they were going to be a fun couple and we got to do some really great pictures - despite trying to be foiled by the Puerto Rican Day Parade, The Zombie Walk, and The Taste of Randolph! The thing about having a wedding in Chicago is that on any given weekend there can be street festivals, parades, and all manner of craziness going on. As long as we're all able to go with the flow - you'll be sure to have a great time and make some fun pictures! Here's some of our favs from the day!

 

Ross & Laura's Wedding

Words can't describe how awesome Ross and Laura's wedding was. Currently living in Australia, the couple had several options when it came to deciding what city (or country) to have their wedding in, since Laura is originally from Chicago and Ross from England. In the end, the couple decided to tie the knot in sweet home Chicago!! With friends and family from all over the world attending, the couple said their vows in the English Walled Garden at the Chicago Botanic Garden. The party moved into the McGinley Pavilion, where they snacked on vegan treats and danced to Toast and Jam. Check out their slideshow to see more!

Liz & Jeff's Galleria Marchetti Wedding

A few weeks ago, as the world descended on Chicago for NATO, Liz and Jeff were married at Galleria Marchetti. We started the day at the Palmer House, before heading out for a few pictures around the city. The intrepid couple weren't going to let protests, heightened security or world leaders get in the way of their special day! As the sunset over the city, the lovely couple were married in the lush garden of Galleria. It was a wonderful night, the dance floor was packed and Bradley Young kept the party going. Thanks to Anika of Anika Kai Events for keeping everything running smoothly, and for Ashland and Addison for the beautiful florals. Can't get enough if these two?
