Megan+Jordan's Winter Hotel Allegro Wedding

The Proposal: Every year, Jordan and Megan always dedicate a day right before Christmas to spend time with each other. They walk around the city, enjoy holiday lights and the festive time of year. December 2013 was no different - except Jordan was planning a surprise proposal on their “Christmas day”. Jordan and Megan had been talking a lot about getting married and he had told her a few times that a proposal wasn’t going to happen for another year, but little did she know he was just trying to throw her off the scent. So, they planned their  special day and started off with checking into the Trump Hotel downtown. The woman at the hotel was acting a bit strange as she checked them in, but Megan didn’t think anything of it (later she found out there were notes in their file since Jordan had been working with the hotel concierge on the proposal, anyways, back to the story!). After they settled into their room, they made their way to the Rebar Lounge, and the staff directed them to a beautiful table overlooking the Chicago River that was covered in red rose petals, glamorous Christmas decorations and candles..... but again, Megan didn’t think anything of it. After putting her purse down, Jordan got down on one knee and proposed! Megan was shocked! Following the proposal they had a romantic dinner and celebrated with calls to their families.

The Wedding: The day started out separately for the Bride and Groom. Megan and her Bridesmaids got ready for the big day at Hotel Allegro while Jordan and the Groomsmen got ready at the couple's condo. The Bride wore a dress from Volles Bridal, designed by Maggie Sottero. Her hair and makeup was done by Tamara Makeup & Hair Artistry. Her shoes and jewelry were both purchased from Nordstrom. The shoe designer was Glint and jewelry designer was Nina. Her Bridesmaid's dresses were from House of Brides and their accessories from J Crew. Back at the couple's condo, the Groom donned his Suit Supply suit and his Groomsmen wore suits from Men's Warehouse. Everyone then made their way to Old St. Patrick's Church for the ceremony. The wedding venue looked amazing, the flowers were done by Flowers by Stem and stationary was done by Lolabean. Rings were exchanged and vows were made; the wedding turned out perfect. The rings were both designed by Dimen Scaasri. Afterwards, everyone hoped into the limos, provided by Top Fleet Chicago  to head out to Michigan avenue and the Kinzie St. Bridge for wedding party photographs before returning to Hotel Allegro for the reception. The reception was held at Hotel Allegro. The food was catered by Hotel Allegros's 312 Restaurant. The cake was designed by Alliance Bakery and the entertainment was provided by MDM Entertainment.

Congrats Megan and Jordan!
