Kelly & Ron's Harold Washington Library Wedding

Kelly and Ron tied the knot last month.  They had their first sighting right outside the historic Millennium Knickerbocker hotel downtown.  After that, we spent a few hours exploring Chicago and taking photos in all their favorite spots; bridges, rivers, and right outside the Harold Washington Library.  They had a sweet ceremony in the library before kicking off an awesome party. 

Allison & Bill's Chicago Engagment Session

We had a fun engagement session with Allison and Bill.  We hit some Chicago landmarks: The Chicago Theater and the Chicago River.  They'll be getting married in September at the Westin North Shore - check back to see their wedding photos next year!

Tying the Knot: Nick and Darcey

This past weekend our very own Nick Gerber married the love of his life, Darcey. We are so filled with joy for both of them. Here is a little peak at their storybook wedding day at Salvage One. We can't wait to share more with you soon!

Jim & Rich's Cultural Center Bash

A couple weeks ago we got to be a part of an absolutely amazing wedding. Jim & Rich tied the knot at Ebenezer Lutheran Church before a gorgeous reception in the historic Gar Hall in the Cultural Center. The energy in the room was palpable the whole reception and once the party started - it was ON! Jim and Rich took a small but meaningful step towards marriage equality. Anyone who has been through struggle will tell you that the road to change is traveled with small but meaningful steps. It was our honor to participate and can't wait to work with many more same sex couples. Kelly & Tom's Fall Engagement

The other day we got to shoot Kelly and Tom's engagement photos on a gorgeous fall afternoon.  Tom being a Chicago police officer, it was perfect that there just happened to be another officer at our location so that we could use his car as a prop.  Stay tuned for their wedding in the spring, we can't wait!

Michelle and Marty's Chicago History Museum Wedding

This lovely couple hails from New York City, but decided to get married in Michelle's home town of Chicago. We met up with the girls at the family's condo in the Gold Coast. The views of downtown from the condo were spectacular! From there it was off to Assumption for an intimate ceremony. As soon as these two were hitch, we hit the town for some pictures. As the sun set, we headed to the History Museum. As you can see the room was stunning! The team from Greatest Expectations knocked it out of the park!
