Louise+Craig's Romantic Intimate RM Champagne Wedding

The Proposal: Craig and Louise both love to try new restaurants.  The couple goes somewhere new almost every weekend. The night they got engaged, it was one of the first warm evenings of summer and so they walked over to Avec for a glass of wine, then continued on to Embeya for dinner.  Louise and Craig had a delicious romantic dinner and then headed home to hang out on their balcony.  That’s where Craig proposed, just the way Louise imagined it—just the 2 of them, without any frills (except a big, shiny Tiffany's ring ).

The Wedding: We met the couple at Old St. Patrick's Church just before their ceremony. Louise wore a gown by Waters from Macy's, fancy italian made shoes, and a hair pin from The Left Bank. Her Bridesmaids wore J.Crew, the Groom and Groomsmen wore suits from Men's Warehouse. Jazzy Florals provided the bright and fun florals. After the ceremony we headed to some of the most iconic Chicago photography locations. We returned to the West Loop for the reception at RM Champagne.
Dinner was catered in house and also by Nelcotte. The evenings music was provided by Okyne Media. We had a great time celebrating your special day!
Congrats Louise and Craig!

Bride's Note: "True to us, we decided to have our reception at one of our favorite, romantic restaurants, RM Champagne.  It’s a small space, but felt just right for all our friends, family, and co-workers.  The night got even more intimate when it down poured and all the tables had to be moved inside.  All-in-all it was a beautiful, fun, and memorable evening.  We are so thankful to have all the wonderful pictures that Orange2 took throughout the evening to help us remember all the little and big moments."

Lauren+Paul's Romantic Adler Planetarium Wedding

The Proposal: Right after Lauren and Paul closed on their row house in Washington, DC, they went over to the empty house to have lunch and celebrate becoming first-time homeowners.  When Lauren opened a cabinet to to pour a celebratory glass of champagne, she found an engagement ring Paul had hidden behind the bottle! The ring was designed by MaeVona from I.Gorman in Washington, D.C.

The Wedding:  The day started with getting ready at the Conrad Hotel. Lauren got ready among her close friends and family, her makeup was by Amy Spagnoli, and her updo was by Julia Bonucchi from Art+Science.  Her gown was by Judd Waddell from Bella Bianca, with shoes by Badgley Mischka, earrings by BHLDN, and bracelets from her Grandmother.
After Lauren and Paul got ready we had their first look on the grand staircase where the couple shared a great moment. After some photographs in the Conrad we walked out to Michigan Ave. for more images.
We headed to Adler Planetarium where the ceremony and reception was to be held. The wedding was planned by Randy Schuster, video was captured by Xpress Video Productions, and the amazing florals were by HMR Designs. Lauren and Paul were married in front of the beautiful Chicago skyline outside Adler by Rabbi Steven Stark Lowenstein and Cantor Andrea Rae Markowicz of Am Shalom. During the exchanging of the wedding bands Lauren placed Paul's Grandfather's ring on her new husband's finger, while Paul gave Lauren a ring from her Great Grandmother.
The reception was catered by Food for Thought, and the evenings entertainment was provided by Gold Coast All Stars. We capped off the night with the newlyweds outside under a great fireworks display.
Congrats Lauren and Paul!
