Christine & Mike's Baby Bump

In 2008, we photographed Christine and Mike's wedding.  Two years later, we photographed Mike's sister's wedding.  And this year, the family was back for photos of Christine and Mike's baby bump!  

And here they are two years later!

Hello Darling Bouquet of the Day

This past Sunday we photographed Hello Darling's Bouquet of the Day at Macy's downtown.  Hello Darling revealed this beautiful piece for the Macy's Flower Show to get all of us excited for spring!

Emily Nash

We recently had the pleasure of photographing Emily Nash.  Emily began her violin studies at the age of 7.  She received her Bachelors of Music as a violin performance major from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign while studying with Simin Ganatra.  Last summer she was Senior Violin Instructor for the Illinois Summer Youth Music Program and was a chamber music coach at the Allerton Chamber Music Festival.  Emily is currently finishing her Master's Degree in Violin Performance studying with Almita Vamos at Northwestern University.

We wish Emily all the best on her journey to become 1st violin with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. 

Engagement Session with Jessica and Seth

Don't get us wrong - we love Chicago.  But every now and then we get the opportunity to do a photo shoot in somewhere different.  Jessica and Seth asked us to come out to Barrington and introduced us to Jessica's horse, Tru.  Isn't it so romantic?!  The sun setting on the snow, a black horse and an amazing couple!

The couple met in South Africa and are getting married in the Tiffany Garden next year.  We can't wait for their wedding!

Bridal Show at the Murphy Auditorium

Yesterday, the 10th, Gerber and Scarpelli participated in a wonderful bridal show at the Murphy Auditorium! The space was decked out to the nines by Frost Lighting, Kloekner Floral, BBJ Linens. There were delicious treats courtesy of Berghoff as well as wonderful tunes provided by the lovely Mary Nisi of Toast and Jam. All in all we got to see some of our industry friends (and photo bomb Shutterbooth's Photobooth!!!) and talk to some fabulous brides. As far as Thursday nights go, it was hard to beat that one! Baby Session Gift Certificates

As if you haven't seen enough baby portraits on our blog lately - here is one more to give you the Wednesday afternoon "awwwww!"

More cute babies!

If our last post didn't convince you to book a baby session or get a gift certificate, how about this one.  So cute, right?

You know what's not cute?  Putting any old hat on any old grown up and taking photos of them sleeping.  Unless they're still in college, then it might be funny for a minute, but really, it's just not cute.

Babies on the other hand, always look cute in hats and always look cute sleeping!  Maybe you have a bun in the oven, maybe you have a sleeping baby right now, or maybe you know someone that does.  Either way, make sure these moments don't pass you by - we're here to help!

Who doesn't love babies?!

Last week, we were lucky enough to photography the precious baby Ava.  Isn't she just adorable?

Though we'd like to think those cute little chubby cheeks never get old - they do!  Make sure you get some photos of your little mini-me before he or she starts piercing their nose or refuses to be seen with you in public.
