Even when we aren't working, we are still shooting!

A few weeks ago, one of our photographers, Belen Aquino, had the honor of being a guest at a wedding (yeah!). The couple are close friends, so it was very important for her to just enjoy herself and have fun with them. Even though she wasn't shooting the event, of course she brought her camera! The event was held at Salvage 1, a hidden funky gem in West Town. Belen shot a few pictures of the space and of all the cool details. Need a cool venue, this one will have people talking about your wedding for a good long time!

Christina & Joey

Drum roll, please! If Christina and Joey's wedding were a restaurant, it would receive four stars! If it were a movie, it would receive two thumbs up! If it were on your report card, their wedding would have earned an A+!


Christina and Joey had their day planned out down to every detail; including programs that doubled as fans for their outdoor July wedding and the balloons that they incorporated into their engagement photo shoot, ceremony, and photos during their wedding day. The lovely couple tied the knot at one of the most beautiful outdoor locations in Chicago: The Cancer Survivors Garden. Then, they had their reception at Fulton's. 
I want to know who Christina's dentist is - she has got to have the biggest and most beautiful smile in all of Chicago!



There is something so romantic and natural about the Cancer Survivor Garden. You get the lush pastoral setting right in downtown Chicago. And, you know that anybody who starts their new life there as husband and wife has a huge, caring heart!

Paul and Kelly

So here are a few shots from Paul and Kelly's engagement shoot. We found this awesome mural near one of our favorite places. Kelly is a zoo keeper, and Paul is in construction, so they hand no problem getting their hands dirty for a few cool shots!

Jody & Derek

The Garfield Park Conservatory is one of those hidden gems in Chicago. It is also one of the prettiest places to have a romantic garden wedding while still being in the city. Jody and Derek's intimate family wedding lived up to all the potential if the Conservatory. With many handmade details, and surrounded by of friends and family, the event was filled with their personality and love. Thanks guys for such a wonderful time!

Venu and Sendhill July 11, 2009

We here at O2Photo love all types of weddings but there is something about a traditional
Indian wedding that really brings out the color!

Venu and Sendhil's wedding was no exception to this rule. Their Northerly Island wedding was perfect in every way. Once again Alexandria and her team from Exquisite Events brought their "A" game. Once again making Lizz and Emily's job so very easy.

The wedding was full of love and good humor always a good combimation to a wonderful day.
