Project Gigeo - A Surprise Wedding Proposal

Love it when a plan comes together! A few weeks ago, we had the good fortune to be involved in a very special project. Ken wanted to propose to his girlfriend Elena. His dream was to have meaningful events from their relationship performed for her that would culminate in the perfect moment for him to pop the question. He brought in a crack team of wedding professionals to help make his idea into reality. The ladies at Greatest Expectations helped plan every detail. We were there to capture all the fun and craziness. Shift Focus Productions was also on hand to film the whole evening. It all went down at Lula Cafe. While Ken hid in the back, friends acted out the scenes from their relationship. A few dozen extras were on hand to make the restaurant feel full and to help create the perfect setting. Laura & Mark's Logan Square Engagement Shoot

One of Laura and Mark's favorite things to do is to go The Logan Square Farmers Market on pleasant summer sundays. They decided for their engagement session that they wanted to give a nod to their Sunday morning routine and then head to another of their favorite spots in the city; The Garfield Park Conservatory. Of course we love shooting at scenic spots all over the city, but it's also fun to go to places that have sentimental value to our couples. If you haven't scheduled your engagement shoot with us yet, think about doing it at a places that means something special to you.

Suz & Dan's Downtown Engagement Shoot!

We had a blast running around the loop with Suz and Dan for their engagement photos! Before we started, Suz shared her pinterest board with her of stuff that she loved which was very inspiring. Once we felt like we got stuff downtown we headed North to warm up in Guthrie's - one of Suz and Dan's favorite spots and the site of their second date. All in all it was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! We can't wait for their wedding in September! 

Jim & Stephanie's Awesome Ivy Room Shindig

Last weekend we had an opportunity to work with an AWESOME couple. Jim & Stephanie had beautiful details and great ideas for their pictures. Engagement Session: Michelle & Dave

Michelle & Dave are a fun, goofy couple.  We shot their engagement session at the Botanic Gardens - a beautiful spot for photos!  They're getting married this June at Independence Grove and we can't wait.  Check back later for their wedding photos!

Mary Ella and Ben had a great engagement session last week.  This September, they'll tie the knot at Fulton's - a beautiful riverfront restaurant.  We're really looking forward to it, not only because Mary Ella and Ben are awesome, but because tons of our past clients will be there as well!  Check back in September to see their wedding photos!
