Liza & Ryan's Country Club Shindig

Ryan and Liza managed to get a beautiful day for their wedding. With a perfect breeze, mild temperature and cloud cover everything seemed to come together for their day. They saw each other for the first time at Olive Park before doing pictures on Michigan Ave and by the Board of Trade. Once we wrapped everything up it was off to Ravisloe Country Club on the South Side. Ravisloe has beautiful Spanish Colonial architecture and ivy covered walls which made for the perfect setting for their outdoor ceremony. After they tied the knot the party was on, and party they did! Check out some of our favorites and their slideshow below! 

Erin & Alex's Elegant Affair

Erin & Alex tied the knot and had a party at two of our FAVORITE venues in the city. They were married at Old St Patrick's Church, the oldest public building in Chicago. What followed was a party at The Rookery, perhaps one of the most architecturally significant buildings in the City, having been built by Daniel Burnham and renovated by Frank Lloyd Wright. Alex and Erin invited their guests to throw down and party with tasty treats from Blue Plate and great tunes from Toast and Jam. Check out their slideshow!

Rachel & Drew's Downtown Throw Down!

When we first met with Rachel and Drew we knew their event was going to be fun, but nothing could have prepared us for the wedding day. Silliness abounding, Rachel saw Drew for the first time in the lobby of the Allerton Hotel before we rode up to The Wrigley Building for some fun pictures. After shooting around there we went back to the Hotel where Drew and Rachel tied the knot. At the beginning of the ceremony the officiant asked everyone to turn off their phones, but Drew apparently missed that memo as his phone rang right after vows giving everyone a good laugh. After the ceremony the party kicked off and was going strong by the time we left at 10:30! Check out their slideshow! 

Suz & Dan's Downtown Engagement Shoot!

We had a blast running around the loop with Suz and Dan for their engagement photos! Before we started, Suz shared her pinterest board with her of stuff that she loved which was very inspiring. Once we felt like we got stuff downtown we headed North to warm up in Guthrie's - one of Suz and Dan's favorite spots and the site of their second date. All in all it was a great way to spend a Saturday afternoon! We can't wait for their wedding in September! 

Mary & Dave's Christmas Wedding

Mary and Dave had a gorgeous during one of our favorite times of the year! Christmas Time! Not only was the Old St. Patrick's decked out, but when we stopped in at Union Station the great hall was decorated too! We had a blast doing pictures with the couple and their wedding party before heading to the ceremony at Old St Patrick's Church. After a beautiful mass officiated by a family friend it was off to the party at Fulton's on The River. If there's one thing you can be sure of; it's that the food is always going to be great at Fulton's! Take a look at some of our favorite pictures  and their slideshow from their day!
