Eileen+Joe's Blackstone Hotel Wedding

The Proposal: Eileen moved to Chicago in 2007, it quickly became home for her. She was lucky to meet life long resident Joe, and this is where their story began.  The night of the proposal, after a nice dinner out downtown, Joe asked Eileen to take a walk. They walked down Michigan Ave. and soon arrived at one of the couples' favorite Chicago spots - Buckingham Fountain. They watched the light and music show for a bit and then Joe turned to Eileen and proposed. It was the perfect night!

The Wedding: The day started with Eileen getting ready at the The Blackstone Hotel. Her hair and makeup were by Pin Me Up Chicago, and she wore a dress & bolero by Lea Ann Belter paired with her mother's wedding veil, Kate Spade shoes, and family jewelry.   The Bridesmaids wore Alfred Sung dresses from Bella Bridesmaids paired with their own pearls, while the Groom and Groomsmen wore suits from Men's Warehouse. Finally it was time for Eileen and Joe to have their first look! Then  we headed outside with the whole bridal party for photographs out on the town. After group photos we headed to Old St. Patrick's Church for Eileen and Joe's lovely ceremony. Flowers were by Flower Firm, and stationary was by Village Paperie .  Leaving Old St. Patrick's, we returned to the Blackstone for their reception. Catering was taken care of in house by the Blackstone, cake was by Cake Chicago, and the evenings entertainment was by  Monastero Entertainment.
It was a great night!
Congrats Eileen and Joe!

Karla+Justino's Spring InterContinental Soiree

Karla+Justino's Story: They met 15 years ago volunteering at a local church. Karla was 15, and Justino was 18. They starting talking and from there, dated through high school. The couple stayed together through college –where Karla attended the University of Chicago.  During her senior year in college, Justino proposed, but Karla wanted to attend law school and left to study at the University of Texas law school.  They continued a long-distance relationship until second year in law school.  After her second year of law school, Justino and Karla were driving back to Chicago for the summer and during the trip they decided that it was time to get married.  The couple wed that August by going to City Hall in Chicago and having a small gathering.  Shortly after their City Hall wedding, Karla left to complete her last year in law school and Justino stayed behind in Chicago.  The following summer the couple moved to Denver.  Five years later, Karla and Justino deciding to celebrate their fifth-year wedding anniversary by having the formal and religious wedding the two always wanted but hadn't had.

The Wedding Day: Planned by Tiffany Munster of Soiree Weddings & Events, started with the girls getting ready at the stunning InterContinental Hotel. Karla's hair and makeup was done by Kate Johnson, her gown was by Allure Couture, shoes by Valentino, florals by Exquisite Designs, and the Bridesmaid's wore dresses by Alfred Sung. The Groom and Groomsmen wore Black by Vera Wang, with Burberry ties. After getting ready the couple was married at St. Paul Church. We then took the whole bridal party on a trolley ride around Chicago for photos. Hitting fun spots like Wrigley Field and the Chicago Theatre. Then it was back to the InterContinental for the reception. The cake by Cake Chicago looked amazing, and the Intercontinental in house catering was great. The reception entertainment featured Banda La Enkantadora, Mariachi Sol Del Oro, Elite Signature DJs, and Cuarto de Milla. After a lot of dancing we took the couple outside for some evening portraits to end the night.

Congrats on your 5th Anniversary Karla+Justino!
