Frances & Joe

Joe and Frances had a super personalized wedding - Frances even wore Chucks under her dress.  Joe's best man is in advertising, so he made a "brand" for the bride and groom complete with t-shirts and stickers.  The couple had their ceremony at one of our favorites, Old St. Pat's.  After the ceremony, we went on a photo safari through their old stomping grounds in Wicker Park.  They now live in San Francisco, where Joe works for Apple and Frances works for Amazon.  Their reception was at Loft at Lake where friends and family had fun with this awesome couple!

From Inspiration to Reality

Kristina & Doug

Kristina & Doug had a picture perfect wedding! They had their ceremony at St. Anne's Catholic Community Church in Barrington. After that, we did pictures at the church during a crazy-short storm. We went to the Catlow Theater in downtown Barrington before heading off to Lake in the Hills to the Boulder Ridge Country Club. Jim Cornelison - the tenor that sings the national anthem and Oh Canada at the Chicago Blackhawks Games - brought the groom a signed jersey and sang the national anthem. The reception was filled with touching toasts and great food. High Society rocked the dance floor and guests danced their booties off!

Casey & Kristin's Trump Tower Party

Casey and Kristin had a classic, elegant wedding at downtown Chicago's Trump Tower.  After getting ready, they saw each other for the first time in their suite.  In lieu of traveling around the city for photos, the couple opted to stay at the Trump - not a bad idea when this hotel has such gorgeous views and interior decor!  The evening was so smooth - they rolled right from ceremony, to cocktail hour, to reception.  After dinner, Orchestra Chicago rocked the house!  

Destination Grand Rapids, MI: Alfie & Amy's Backyard Wedding

Alfie and Amy (whose last name is Bravo - hence the sign!) are from the DC area but decided to get married at the bride's parent's home in Grand Rapids, Michigan.  These two put a lot of DIY work into their wedding; from the bouquet, to the signs, food, and decor.  They even found a few things... the men's ties on Etsy and the arbor in someone's trash!  In true Michigan fashion, these two had Founders beer on tap!  Because a lot of their guests are (or were) in bands, their reception ended with a pool party/sing-along that lasted until the wee hours of the morning - Enjoy!

Sneak Peek:Joe & Frances' Wicker Park & West Loop Wedding

Joe and Frances were the coolest couple!  They got married at Old St. Patrick's Church (one of our favorites!) and then we did a little "walking tour" of Wicker Park.  We are always excited when we get to spend time in places that our special to the couples we work with - it always adds a little something to the photo shoot!  After walking around Milwaukee Ave, we went to their reception at Loft on Lake.
