What a fun shoot! We met Francis and Gerald at the always interesting and unique Salvage One vintage store / event space. This couple was adorable- full of smiles and laughter. We can't wait for them to get hitched!

Tying the Knot: Nick and Darcey

This past weekend our very own Nick Gerber married the love of his life, Darcey. We are so filled with joy for both of them. Here is a little peak at their storybook wedding day at Salvage One. We can't wait to share more with you soon!

Andrea & Jim's Old St Pat's Salvage One Wedding

You might remember this lovely couple from their engagement session last fall. We dont know about you, but we have been waiting for the wedding ever since. And its finally here! After a lovely ceremony at Old St Pat's, Andrea and Jim, took us on a tour of their neighborhood, before heading to Salvage One. The evening was filled with hilarious stories and a few antics. Toast and Jam kept the hits rolling and the dance floor packed. Our hearts are still melting over Hardy Boys mac n cheese bar. Congrats to Andrea and Jim!

Eliana and Shaun's Salvage One Wedding

Eliana and Shaun picked one of the hippest spots on Chicago, Salvage One, for their wedding. They are one cool couple, who didn't really stress about any part of their wedding. It was an unusually warm spring day, which made for some beautiful pictures around the venue. The happy couple tied the knot in a lovely ceremony officiated by the bride's brother. The reception was filled with lots of fun stories and lovely anecdotes. Thanks guys for letting us be a part of your day!

Andrea and Jim

We love it when our clients think outside the box with their engagement photos and Andrea and Jim fit in that category perfectly.  This talented couple are both musicians and wanted to incorporate their love for music and for each other together.  We shot their photos at promontory point where Jim popped the big question.  We can't wait to shoot their Salvage One wedding next August because they are so adorable together and we know it will be beautiful!

Maria & Jordan

 Salvage One is such a great place to have a wedding.  It's unique, vintage, and has a homey feel that is unmatched in many other Chicago venues.  Since Salvage One doubles as an antique store and a venue, they use their display furniture for the wedding set up.  All the tables for wedding guests are made up of dining room tables that Salvage One is actually selling.  Not only is that awesome because you don't have to rent furniture, but since their inventory is always changing, you never know what you're going to get!  Maria & Jordan named all their tables after streets in Chicago and decorated handmade centerpieces of flowers, twigs, and old jars.  Their menus were also Chicago themed with a map that displayed different areas of the city.

 Maria & Jordan had their entire day inside Salvage One - they got ready there, held their ceremony on the first floor, and partied on the top floor!

Even though it was freezing in mid-November, we still made it outside for a quick shot in Salvage One's backyard.  Check out their slideshow to see more!

Gina + Larry - Salvage One

Gina and Larry tied the knot the first of October at Salvage One. Without a doubt Salvage One is one of our favorite venues in the city of Chicago! It's completely unique, and ever changing. One of our favorite features is the back courtyard space, which must have appealed to Gina (an interior designer) who ended up having their ceremony there at Dusk. Another thing that's neat is that Gina and Larry were able to get ready there which meant we had access to some different pieces to photograph her dress and jewelry on. We really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere of their party and had a blast working with them on their wedding day. Congratulations, Gina and Larry!
