Missy+Murph's Engagement Session

Recently we met up with Missy and Murph for their engagement session where we walked around Chicago and photographing the two lovebirds. Missy and Murph are planning their wedding for May 2015. Missy will be getting ready at her father's condo. After that, the wedding ceremony will be held at Old St. Patrick's Church and a reception to follow at the Bridgeport Art Center. Congratulations Missy and Murph!

Kurt Gerber: Favorite Moments 2014

At the close of each year we like to look back and recap with a selection of our personal favorite images captured during the season. 2014 was a great year filled with amazing couples and we can't wait to see what the 2015 season brings! As a principal photographer, Kurt nurtured his interest in fine art by studying photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he began developing  an aesthetic informed by renaissance painting, modern art, and pop culture. Kurt spent his early career making images for advertising clients with his full service production company in upstate New York and office in Manhattan. Upon discovering the friendly environs of Chicago, he formed a commercial photography business here in the mid-nineties.  After photographing several of his advertising clients' weddings, Kurt found his style sought by many in the business. After several years on his own in Chicago, he turned his friendship with Michael Scarpelli into a successful partnership. Kurt's mission is to create a legacy of talented artists and photographers that use their gifts to create positive change in the world.
