Konvalia & Jim

This past Friday Konvalia became the loving wife to a wonderful man and the step mom to three adoring children. The family got ready together on the top floor of The Wit before catching a quick cab over to Fultons on the River for the ceremony in which all five members of the family lit the Unity Candle signifying the coming together to create a brand new life as one.

After, they had a block-rocking party with plenty of events for both the kids and the adults, including an epic dance-off which was won by James, Jim and Konvalia's son.

Casey & Anthony

Casey & Anthony had a lovely intimate wedding in November.  They invited about fifty guests to celebrate their marriage.  They had their ceremony at the Gruen Galleries which was a beautiful open space with lots of nice wood accents.  Before tying the knot, the couple got ready downtown at The Wit Hotel.  After their ceremony, they held dinner for their closest family and friends at Blackbird.  Unlike most of our couples, they took all their romantic photos at night.  You can see how this gives the images a completely different feel and adds to the drama of the photos.  Chicago is such a great city because whether you get married in the summer or winter, you can still have backgrounds for great photography!

Kate & Charles

April 17, 2010:  What a nice day for a white wedding!  The rock n roll couple Kate and Charles celebrated their love on a fine Saturday earlier this month.  The couple got ready at the new and amazing Wit hotel downtown before heading off to Old St. Pat's Church to make it official.  They then brought the party back to the Wit, where Charles strapped on his guitar and wailed some blues hits for his new wife!!
