Caitlyn+Michael's Chicago Theater Engagement Session

Caitlyn and Michael met up with us for their engagement photos this fall. We spent time downtown around the Kinzie St. Bridge and the Chicago Theater capturing their connection. The couple is planning their May 2015 wedding with a ceremony at Old St. Patrick's Church and a reception to follow at River Roast Chicago.

Katie and Len's Snowy Winter Wedding

We're so excited to share this wedding today! This is what every winter Chicago wedding should look like. Katie and Len started their wedding day at the Wit Hotel in the heart of the loop. We met up with them there just as the snow started to fall. Jack, from Leap Weddings was also there to capture everything on video. After an intimate 1st look at the top of the hotel, we hit the town. Bridal party and couple braved the cold for some classic Chicago pictures. As the light faded we headed up to Cafe Brauer for the ceremony and reception. There wasn't a dry eye in the house during the intimate candle lit ceremony. As everybody enjoyed cocktails, planner Shannon Gail and the talented team from Stems transformed the Great Hall. After a lovely dinner provided by Blue Plate Catering, there were a few surprises! Len surprised Katie with a birthday cake (it was her 30th!) and everybody serenaded her with Happy Birthday! But the biggest surprise of all was Tommy the Hawk appearance at the start of dancing a gift to the couple from Shannon and Len's sister, Teresa! He got everyone out of their seats and dancing! Toast and Jam kept the party going way into the night. It was truly a night to remember. Congrats to Katie and Len! Thanks for letting us be part of your amazing wedding day! 

Abby & Andy

Abby and Andy's big day was a true classic.  They had all the necessary ingredients to make for a truly memorable wedding, fit for a movie.  They both got ready at the Intercon Hotel before they first saw each other at the park across from the Drake.  From there, we hoped around the city shooting photos before the ceremony and reception at the Chicago Cultural Center.  We are so happy we got to enjoy the day with them.  Take a look below for more.

Katie & Brian's Cafe Brauer Wedding

There's nothing better than kicking off the season with an awesome wedding at Cafe Brauer!  Katie and Brian got ready for the day at the Dana Hotel.  After the wedding party was all prim and proper, everyone went to Old St. Pat's to see the happy couple make it official.  We then made our way around the city, making stops at beautiful locations like LaSalle Street, the Chicago Theater, and the Chicago river.  The beautifully decorated reception, care of Kloeckner Events, looked great and tasted great with catering from Entertaining Company.  It was a party all night long thanks to great music by Okyne Media Lab!
