The Proposal: Nico proposed to Lindsey on a rainy Sunday morning at home. Nico usually gets up before Lindsey so his original plan was to slip the ring on her finger before she woke up. However, on this particular morning, Lindsey woke up before him and ruined his plan! Lindsey got out of bed and started getting ready for the day. Nico heard Lindsey get up and quickly thought of a new plan. Lindsey came back into the bedroom and saw Nico down on one knee and the ring box open on the nightstand. Lindsey said yes to Nico's sweet and simple proposal, and they started planning their special day.
The Wedding Day: Lindsey and Nico kept their day simple and chic with their wedding revolving around the Wyndam Grand. The couple chose not to see each other before their intimate ceremony, so photographs were taken separately beforehand. After the couple became husband and wife, we took them outside for some photographs together around town. Not even a little rain could spoil the beautiful day. After finishing photographs around Chicago we headed back to the Wyndam for cocktail hour and the reception. We captured end of the night photos of Lindsey and Nico with the Chicago night sky behind them.
Lindsey's hair and makeup was by Tamara Hair and Makeup, florals by Fragrant Design, her gown was Stephen Yearick for Mockingbird Bridal, and her bridal shoes were Stuart Weitzman. The Bridesmaids wore gowns from David's Bridal and earrings from Banana Republic. The Groom and Groomsmen looked dapper in suits from Formally Modern Tuxedo. The receptions entertainment was by Adam Ryan, Cake by Alliance Bakery, and catering was provided in house by the Wyndam Grand.
